SVAW

The trailer weighs 8 tons. A crash absorber is mounted on the back. Given its weight, the trailer can be used standalone. The trailer can be pulled by any lorry, thus saving on the costs of an extra lorry, driver and fuel.

 

The idea for the SVAW came about because of the need for lorries on every work site. The SVAW avoids using an additional lorry as a crash absorber in situations where there are already lorries at the site. As the SVAW can be mounted on any lorry, it can be used for several purposes.
